Archipelago Adventures of Sitka Alaska provides fully guided boat based and fly-in hunts for Sitka Blacktail Deer and Waterfowl. We have a variety of hunts available to suit different levels of experience and physical condition. The early November hunt is based around the peak of the rut, at this time of year the bucks have moved down into the lower elevations and respond well to a fawn bleat. This hunt commonly requires moderate hiking depending on snow levels.
